While I do wish they had started fresh with a "New" wiki, it does make sense as SOE has partnered with Wikia to host all of their official wiki's for all their games across the board. Given the amount of Information in Vanguard, going with telonica (since its hosted on wikia) kind of makes sense. Also, it also does have more updated lower level (1-20) information on it from the start..
Personally, I am not upset one bit, the Telon Project is not going anywhere and my main focus will still be here. As I have time I will assist with Telonica, and offer my voice/consultation on formating, etc for that site as well :)
Oh.. and as for the ad's /popup.. just get adblocker, or another good ad blocking add on for your browser :P
