* "In my time here at the Point," Franosharn says, "I've fallen in love with a beautiful woman. She, however, sees right through me. You can see her over by the fire, Daddorna Assorn. I've been trying to get her attention for a while now."
* "Do you think you could get her to talk to me? I could offer something in return for the work."

* "The fire makes fine protection against the chill sea air," you say.
* "Aye, it does," Daddorna says. "Sadly, it only protects for a short distance. I am Daddorna, may I ask who you are?"
* "Of course," you say. "I am <PlayerName>."
* "Then let me extend a formal greeting, <PlayerName>," she says. " I do have to ask you something though."
* "What's that?" you ask.
* "I saw you speaking with Franosharn Kagot over there," she says. "Has he now hired you to speak to me?"
* "He has," you say sheepishly, "how do you know this?"
* "You are not the first," she says. "I have made it clear to the other, but it seems none have told him."
* "What is that?" you ask.
* "I told them that, although Franosharn does interest me, I have been instructed by my brother not to speak to him," she say. "I will do as my brother asks, in this instance."
* "May I ask why" you say. "You are old enough to make these decisions for yourself."
* "My brother has a little better intuition about the people here than I do; he has been here longer."
* "So, if you could convince your brother to tell you otherwise, you might speak to Franosharn."
* "I might," she says. "But it is not a guarantee. I humor my brother, but I do not take orders from him."
* "That's understandable," you say. "Who is your brother, so I may speak to him?"
* "His name is Shield Fadir. He can usually be found over at the boat-crafters."
* "Thank you, Daddorna," you say. "I appreciate your frankness."

* "Shield Fadir," you say, "I must speak to you."
* "Has something happened?" he asks. "We have had a few attacks recently."
* "Nothing like that," you say. "It is regarding your sister, Daddorna."
* "Oh good gods," he says, "Did Franosharn send you?"
* "He did," you say. "I understand he has sent others before me."
* "Yes, there have been many. I don't understand why he doesn't just approach her on his own."
* "I can offer an idea," you say. "He is an elder here. It would be inappropriate for him to seek her."
* "How do you mean?" he asks. "an elder can request whatever he wishes, though it may not be provided."
* "Yes, but your sister isn't quite in the same social class here," you say. "She is of lower status than him."
* "That is true," Fadir says. "I never quite saw it that way."
* "Is that why you cautioned your sister against him?" you ask.
* "Yes," he says. "I thought Franosharn a coward. I can see now, though, he may just be following protocol."
* "He may be," you say. "You shouldn't worry about your sister in that way though. Trust her judgement."
* "Alright," he says. "I will tell her I have changed my opinion."
* "Thank you, Shield Fadir," you say.

* "Have you spoken to her?" he asks. "I saw you running around quite a bit."

* "Marvelous," he says. "I can already see her looking my way. Here, let me pay you quick so that I may ready myself to speak to her."
* "Love has many poetic truths, and it looks like you have learned one," he adds quickly. "They will help warm you in the cold nights here."
