Trade, purchase or engage in civic parleys to gather crude information on blackmail and plots concerning the Gray Knights. Only crude information will be accepted. Civic parleys can be found in most towns. Turn them into Sharas Kamur in New Targonor.

Walkthrough:
Speak with Sharas Kamur to obtain the quest.
Engage in Civic Diplomacy in towns other than New Targonor to obtain Crude Hearsay of Plots and Blackmail. You will need to look for parleys with level requirements between 1 and 10 to obtain the proper level of hearsay. Accordingly, cities like Bordinar's Cleft, Tursh, and Leth Nurae are good places to start. Interviews are the best overall source, but Convince and Gossip also return the types of hearsay you need.
Return to Sharas Kamur to complete the quest.
