Diplomatic Mount Quests
Overview
- Tier 1 Diplomatic Mount quests are available as part of the conclusion of all Racial Diplomatic Tutorial Quest Arcs. Skill requirement is 45, presence is 5 in multiple stations (if any is required at all)
- Tier 2 Diplomatic Mount quests are available on each continent. Skill requirment is 200, presence requirement is 230 in multiple stations. You will also need your Tier 1 Diplomatic Mount (which can be obtained for no cost from the initial quest giver if you have deleted it or if you fail to complete the initial quest in the time alloted). The primary quest has a time limit of 90 minutes. Side quests for Saddle bags, horseshoes and tack are given from the various NPCs that you parley - you may decline these if you wish. Each primary quest giver will give their quest again so that you may obtain and complete the side quests at your leisure. ***You may only do the Quests of one continent.
- Tier 3/4/5 Diplomatic Mount quests are not yet implemented. Assume 300/400/500 skill requirements and higher presence (700/???/????) requirements. The previous Tier's Mount will also be required.
Tier 1 Mount Quests
- All Diplomats will have an opportunity to receive a Horse as a reward for a quest as part of their Diplomacy Tutorial Quests. The Young Courier Horse will increase your speed of travel by 35%, and you can also obtain horseshoes and tack to increase that further.
- Courier Saddlebags from Settle Aslak's Debtsor Important Designs (Bordinar's Cleft)
- Young Courier Horse from Settle the Bets (Qalia), Sands of Qalia (Qalia), Kojani Storms (Kojan), or Diplomat's Saga - The Thestran Dead (Thestra)
Tier 2 Mount Quests
- When your Diplomacy Level reaches 20, you will be able to train your horse so that it can travel faster. To do this you should visit one of three people on the different continents of Telon and accept a quest from them. You may visit whichever you prefer.
- Your new horse will give you a 48% speed boost compared to walking, and again you will be able to improve that using horseshoes and tack.

Unknown what this table is actually for, doing research on it.
- Since each race has a different set of Diplomacy Tutorial Quests, the quest that will give them the horse is different for each:
