Guide to Making Imbued Augments
Almost all of the drops, except for the enhancement sealer, come from City of Brass
T1 augs drop off any mob in zone, at about a 5% (any of the four types) drop rate.
Seeds are harvested by a 500 harvester at various nodes throughout the zone. 10 minute respawn, they are located on either water areas or rock areas. No nodes are located in areas covered by paving stones, and I have yet to see any of them outside CoB walls. Approximately a 5% drop rate on seeds (any of the four types).
Residuals are found from the orbs, they are on a 10 minute respawn, and have a 10% chance to drop any of the four types of residuals.
In order to get from T1 to T2 you will need 1x Imbued, 1x Enhancement sealer, 1x UR This is one step for a crafter.
In order to get from T1 to T3 you will need 2x Imbued, 2x Ehhancement sealer, 2x UR, 1x Seed, 1x Residual (all of the same type). Essentially you upgrade they craft a T1 into a T2 augment then a T2 into a T3. This involves a total of three steps for a crafter, two at the approriate finishing station and one at an assemble table.
In order to get from T1 to T4/5 you will need the full list of 2x Imbued 3x Enhancement sealer, 2x UR, 1x Seed, 1x Residual and Anima (all of the same type). You take the T3 augment and upgrade it into a IV or IV. This involves four total steps for a crafter, two at the appopriate finishing staion and two at the assemble table. The crafter will loot a sigil of xxxxx, the sigil is then right clicked by anyone to form a final aug.
Going from T1 to T2 takes whatever stat is on the T1 aug to 131 instead of the 17 on T1. So all T2 augs are just higher absorbtion versions of the T1 aug. There is however a fairly significant jump going from T2 to T3.
Several of the T3 augs are worth having.
- Imbued Darkness III -25 hp, 25 energy, 1 energy regen, 131 shadow absorbtion
- Imbued Light III -25 hp, 25 energy, 1 energy regen, 131 holy absorbtion
- Imbued Chaos III -25 hp, 25 energy, 1 enderence regen, 131 flurry absorbtion
- Imbued Order III -25 hp, 25 energy, 131 planar absorbtion, 13 block
None of the augs are currently soulbound, so if you do happen to get a T3 aug made, it might be worth putting in your gear until the appropriate Anima becomes available. Just weigh the cost of unsocketing gear vs. the hopefully temporary gain of having that augment in your gear compared to having an empty gear slot.
